I've been away on a family road trip to Adelaide for the past few days. It was really fun and it was great to get outta town. Below I have some fun dumb photos to share with you. Monday night was the big job interview, and it went well apart from me being very nervous and having a pimple on my head when I was trying to be mature and professional. I am not sure that I am going to get this dream job, because I think in contrast to other applicants I am a lot younger and less experienced. I am really stoked to have been shortlisted for an interview, and if I don't get the job that's achievement enough for me, for now.
I ate so many Kinder Surprises in Adelaide, they are just so delicious and I am totally addicted to them it is a problem. Ah anyway on to photos, just boring ones from my phone but evidence of the rendezvous nonetheless.

This was me after getting all dolled up for my interview. I wanted to act much older than I am so worldly experience oozed out of me. Instead I had a pimple on my forehead which really sort of cancelled those illusions out. |

We came across this 'Giant Koala' on the first day of our trip. It is the single ugliest, poorly made contraption I've ever seen, but I loved it. My Dad did too, asking the lady if it made noise at night. It doesn't, but it's eyes do light up red. Not creepy at all! |

These babies were in the Horsham Botanical Gardens |

This was one of my favourite things from the trip. It is a Scout Hall in Dimboola, a really tiny country town. It hadn't changed since the 60s and still had this very 'Moonrise Kingdom' sign out the front. I couldn't resist the photo opportunity. |

A beautiful Lotus pond at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens. It was 42 degrees when this photo was taken hence the pose |

When I got home my Rookie Calendar had finally arrived so I was happy. My drawings are June and December! Hooray! |
When we were driving for long times I listened to Linda Ronstadt and Glen Campbell and other great road trippy stuff. I made a playlist, download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?oqjslnrj55bkj
