I feel a floaty and dreamy but very grounded at the same time. I made the above pictures today. They mean a lot to me, like everything does at the moment. I'm an emotional wreck, in a good way - ah not possible? Whatever, I feel pretty happy and dysfunctional and like I'm existing in one big metaphorical and actual mess - you should see my brain - and my studio for that matter. I sort of disguise my emotional misgivings within work and art and stuff and it all looks like one big opaque cloud to everyone and then I extract like one thing and show someone and they're surprised or left feeling like they don't know me at all. Like, I'm all low lights and trick mirrors from the outside but then in the same bed or five centimetres from my skin it's something totally different.
