Mr. Jimmy

I was in the car with my Dad this morning because he was helping me take my paintings and stuff to the gallery and we were listening to the radio and there was like a countdown of songs from 1973 I think and the familiar sound of the London Bach choir chorused "I saw her today at the reception.. a glass of wine in her hand" and then I turned it up really really loud and it was perfect and great until it was heavenly at that first guitar strum and sublime when the angelic Mick Jagger comes in with "I saaw her today at the recep-tion.. a glaass of wiine in her haynd" and I realized the closest I've ever gotten to a religious awakening or experience is listening to particular pop music like The Stones/Joni/Leonard very loudly or looking up at the bowl of stars with my head hanging out of an open window.

"I WAS STANDIN' IN LIINE, WITH MR. JIMMY, AND MAYN DID HE LOOK PRETTY IIIILL"

I always sing along, in my Mick Jagger voice and that's me above just having some kind of religious experience via pop music obviously.
