The lowlife has lost its appeal

I wrote this 'list of theoretically achievable things I have always wanted to do' at the beginning of the year. I've crossed out the things I've actually done.

1. Wink at somebody *
2. Wake up and jump out of bed straight into my shoes
3. Write a compelling short story even if I'm the only one who reads it *
4. Learn French
5. Decorate and furnish a house of my own
6. Have a huge rambling garden with a greenhouse full of orchids
7. Host an incredible dinner party at my house that I decorated and furnished myself with the rambling garden and the greenhouse full of orchids
8. Have my palm read
9. Be regarded as 'well read' *
10. Skip class and go to the park to read poetry
11. Read aloud with someone I really love *
12. Carry one of those wicker picnic baskets with a red gingham cloth
13. Have a supernatural experience
14. Host a record party with lots of dancing
15. Achieve consistency in my 'personal style' *
16. Know all the words to Subterranean Homesick Blues
17. Buy a banana lounge and laze about in the sun wearing red 50s bathers and Lolita sunglasses
18. Watch a film almost every day (Almost is the operative word here)
19. Feel almost completely uninhibited *
20. Cut all my hair off (So I didn't cut it ALL off, but a large percentage - and it was one of the best things I ever did)

* Not likely to ever occur

(This is a picture of me, celebrating spring, in my room, with the heating on, while it's raining outside)

  2. Thanks Kailey, you should get onto dying your hair right away! I used to have the ends of my hair pink before I cut it, it was very fun xoxo
